Arapohue House

The beautiful old bungalow was recently rebuilt to include two ensuite bedrooms for guests. Surrounded by park-like gardens, it provides peace and tranquility. Arapohue means 'A pathway or a Valley of Flowers'.

Originally the home of the local butcher back in 1880, the homestead has been part of the Russell scene for over 125 years, and has lost none of it's original grace. Bradley and Vivienne love the garden and keep it in great shape. Locals and tourists alike stop to smell the roses that grow over the white picket fence, and admire the lavender along the driveway.

Location

Only 200 meters from Russell Beach, it is an easy leisurely level walk to all the fine restaurants and coffee houses. A short walk the other way takes you to Long Beach, our long white sandy beach, which is great for a swimming towel and a good book on a lazy afternoon to while away the sunny hours.

Our house is smoke free and we have no pets or children living at home. We can organize any trips for you, and have many brochures and ideas to help make your stay in Russell interesting and enjoyable.
